Jumeirah Wins Big at WTA Event

DECEMBER 17, 2007. Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah: The Arabian Resort,, both part of Dubai based luxury hospitality group Jumeirah, have collected top accolades at the 14th annual World Travel Awards Gala Ceremony, held on the island of Proviciales in the Caribbean.

The world famous Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah's flagship hotel, was awarded the much-coveted title of World's Leading Hotel at the star-studded event, whilst the Group's Arabian resort, Madinat Jumeirah, received the prestigious title of World's Leading Family Luxury Resort. The global winners of the World Travel Awards were determined from a vote of over 167,000 tourism professionals and agents.
