After a devastating blow from Hurricane Ian in the middle of a major renovation and addition, Ritz-Carlton Naples re-emerged in July 2023 as an elevated, luxury resort while preserving its timeless features.
Originally built in the 1980s along Paradise Coast in Southwest Florida, the iconic hotel faces the shimmering ocean and glistening sands of the Gulf of Mexico. For decades, the 450-room hotel served as a high-end destination for families, business travelers and vacationers to visit year after year. As with all Ritz-Carlton properties, the resort prides itself on its unparalleled service and diverse offerings fit for relaxation, exploration and everything in between.
In 2018, the renowned brand engaged national design firm Cooper Carry as the architect to update the hotel and bring it into the 21st century, while still maintaining its beloved charm. Parker-Torres, a design firm focused on elevated hotel design with major brands, joined the project as the interior designer in 2020. The teams collaborated to devise a complete renovation plan that would enhance the overall guest experience, including 92 new luxury suite accommodations, a new 14-floor Vanderbilt Tower, an expanded Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge and updates to the lobby, meeting space, restaurants, pools and spa.
The Ritz Club Lounge is now on the ground floor in the new tower of the Ritz-Carlton Naples.
