CINCINNATI, OH, November 13, 2006. Fashion expert Stacy London announced today at the International Hotel/Motel and Restaurant Show in New York that the Sheraton New Orleans is the winner of CintasTM 'Define Your Design'Uniform Makeover Contest. The Sheraton New Orleans, which was affected by recent hurricanes, will receive $25,000 in exclusive designs crafted by CintasTM award-winning designers.

"Properties are looking for classy uniforms with a high-end retail look," said Ms. London. "In the hospitality industry, properties are moving toward stylish suits that are designed with the same colors and silhouettes of the retail market."

Ms. London always recommends that people build their wardrobe with core, interchangeable components that complement body style, shape and form.

"The entire property has a sharper image when each person looks their best," said Ms. London. "Designs that are purposefully customizable are a way to let individuals choose pieces that are suitable to them while maintaining the same professional image of their colleagues."

Sheraton's John Ford agrees in his winning entry by saying that uniforms need to "look consistent throughout the hotel" and "be pleasing to the eye." He also notes that "form and function go hand in hand" in uniforms.

A real challenge in a hospitality setting is designing uniforms that are stylish and functional in all job responsibilities. Today's top designers are constantly reinventing styles, fabrics and colors that satisfy specific job needs and coincide with the overall image of a property.

Hundreds of properties participated in this year's 'Define Your Design' Uniform Makeover Contest, which is open to hotels across the nation. Winning properties work with CintasTM professional designers to craft uniforms that are professional, functional and enhance the property's image. Last year's winner, the Hyatt Regency Boston, capitalized on their win to get uniforms that matched their newly renovated property.

"We are proud to name the Sheraton New Orleans winner of this year's 'Define Your Design' Uniform Makeover Contest," said Bill Cronin, President of CintasTM National Account Sales Division. "We extend our gratitude to all who participated in the contest and commend the Sheraton New Orleans for their winning entry."
