Travelodge Offers lb20 Million Price Cuts to Customers in 2006

Creates a UK Record and Opens Eight Hotels in One Day

. October 14, 2008

UNITED KINGDOM, December 8, 2995. Travelodge has launched a new aggressive pricing strategy for 2006. A hundred thousand rooms will be priced at lb10, 500,000 rooms will be available at lb26 and price cuts will be made on thousands of standard room rates across the whole estate, including city centre and airport locations. The new rates have been created following a price review of all of Travelodge's 280 hotels - the key local competition have been undercut in every location.

You will also be able to book rooms in advance from 6 months to 12 months, making it much easier for customers to find a reduced room rate.

UK First Hotel Openings

On Friday 2 December 2005, Travelodge created a UK first and opened eight new hotels throughout the UK from Aberdeen to St Austell.

The new hotel locations are: London City Airport, Manchester Airport, Aberdeen Airport (An ideal stop-over before catching an early morning flight as it avoids the hassle of getting to the airport on time). Nottingham City Centre, Norwich City Centre, Bury, Pembroke Dock and St Austell.
