Reno Hotels Offer Packages for Warhol Exhibit

RENO, NV, December 26, 2006. The Nevada Museum of Art (NMA) and the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority (RSCVA), have partnered with local hotels to offer visitors special room rates and packages with admission to Andy Warhol's Dream America presented at the NMA from January 20 through May 27, 2007. Andy Warhol's Dream America: Screenprints from the Collection of the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation offers a comprehensive look at this legendary Pop artist's printmaking career. The exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to view a large selection of complete portfolios featuring some of Warhol's most recognizable prints - including images of Marilyn Monroe, Jacquelyn Kennedy, Mick Jagger and the Campbell's soup cans. The room packages are designed to accommodate visitors who would like to attend the exhibition's presentation in Reno, Nev., which is the last stop for this touring exhibition.

The packages highlight four Reno/Sparks hotel-casino properties. Reservations will include one ticket per guest (based on double occupancy) to the Andy Warhol's Dream America exhibition in addition to special offerings unique to each hotel.

Each offer is subject to availability and certain restrictions apply per hotel. Participating hotels include:

Andy Warhol's Dream America will be on exhibit from January 20 through May 27, 2007 at the Nevada Museum of Art, Donald W. Reynolds Center for the Visual Arts, E. L. Wiegand Gallery located at 160 West Liberty Street in downtown Reno. The galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., late on Thursdays until 8 p.m.; closed Mondays and national holidays.
