LAKE MARY, FL / WHITE PLAINS, NY - November 25, 2009 - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT) and the YRG Hotel Group announce the official opening of The Westin Lake Mary, Orlando North, located just north of the city of Orlando in the rapidly growing suburb of Lake Mary, FL. The Westin Lake Mary, Orlando North is the 164th Westin hotel to open worldwide.

Steve Ragsdale, General Manager of The Westin Lake Mary, Orlando North, Lake Mary Mayor David Mealor and several other local dignitaries were on hand this morning to cut the ribbon as part of the official festivities for the hotel. It is located in the heart of the high-tech business corridor with easy access to Interstate-4, 11 miles from the Sanford/Orlando International Airport and 30 miles from Orlando International Airport.

The Westin Lake Mary, Orlando North, features 253 guest rooms and suites, Westin's signature Heavenly Bed® and Heavenly Shower®, Shula's 347 Grill and a lobby bar.
