Jennifer C. Hughes Appointed Director of Catering at the Hilton Hartford

Hughes as new director of catering of the state of the art $33 million luxury hotel. Hughes brings over a decade of expertise in the catering and hospitality industry. In her new position, Hughes will oversee all catering functions at the Hilton Hartford with a focus on large scale banquets including weddings, bar and batmitvahs, fundraisers, galas and corporate events. Hughes will also be responsible for generating new business for the hotel and maintaining solid relationships with current customers.
Prior to accepting a position with the Hilton Hartford, Hughes spent three years as executive suites and event manager at Madison Square Garden in Hartford, Conn., where she was responsible for all event and catering sales. In addition, Hughes oversaw all day to day operations in the executive suites, restaurant and catering department, and was responsible for the establishment's menu design and creation.
Hughes also spent three years as senior sales and conference manager at the Inns & Spa at Mill Falls in Meredith, N.H., where she perfected her skills generating new business especially within corporate, government, social, sports and entertainment markets.
Hughes is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire.
