$22 Million Upgrade

SARASOTA, FL, November 27, 2007. Hyatt Regency Sarasota recently announced plans for a $22 million renovation encompassing the entire hotel including guestrooms, meeting space, restaurants and bars. Situated in a beautiful resort-like setting, the 294-guestroom hotel offers an ideal location for business and leisure travelers alike. The renovation is currently underway and set to be completed in March 2008.

Guests will experience a new relaxed, sophisticated yet elegant design including the new guestrooms which will be appointed with contemporary furnishings and modern amenities including the signature Hyatt Grand BedTM, 32-inch LCD flat-screen televisions, expanded work stations with oversized desks and T-Mobile(R) wireless internet access. The new guestrooms will also feature iHomeTM clock radios with an iPod(R) docking station and high-fidelity speakers that deliver astounding clarity, depth, and power.

All guestrooms will have new carpet, flooring tile and lighting upgrades as well as newly designed guest bathrooms with new plumbing and fixtures, and new sliding glass doors on all balconies.

For meetings at Hyatt Regency Sarasota, the hotel offers 20,000 square of meeting space including, a brand new 2,000 square foot meeting room overlooking the pool and marina, new carpeting and the latest state-of-the-art technology throughout. In addition, the two hotel restaurants will be completely renovated, including Scalini's and Boathouse on the marina.
