Luxe Member Revenues Up More Than 25%

. October 14, 2008

JULY 17, 2007. Luxe Worldwide Hotels, the premier representation company of independently owned and operated hotels, today announced that revenue generated by the company for its member hotels soared more than a record 25 percent in the 2007 first half, compared to the same period a year earlier.

In addition, the company announced that it had added a record 24 new international hotels and resorts, located in nine countries during the first six months of 2007, including its first property in Bulgaria. The company also said that it opened two new offices in the 2007 first half, located in Dubai and Athens, and significantly enhanced its London presence, to provide greater personalized attention, worldwide sales, reservation channels and revenue generation services. The company now serves more than 250 premier hotels and resorts.

"It has been an extraordinary growth period for Luxe and its member properties year-to- date, and we see this trend continuing for the foreseeable future," said Efrem Harkham, Luxe president and CEO. "Demand for independent upscale and luxury hotels is up substantially around the globe and Luxe continues to be a leader in those important segments. With our full range of marketing, sales and reservations services, we have consistently generated superiorrevenue increases for our properties and expect to achieve an exceptional revenue growth record this year, well above industry averages. These results have played a key role in enabling us to attract new properties at a record rate.

"While we continue to increase our member hotels, we have kept pace by adding new offices and additional professionals at our existing offices," he added. "We now have 12 offices worldwide, as well as our corporate headquarters in Los Angeles. Our growth in distribution makes Luxe even more attractive to corporate and group clients. Our growth in office and professional staffing allows us to continue delivering our highly personalized service for each hotel we represent."

The United Arab Emirates office is the company's first in the Middle East. Located in Dubai, the office will serve member hotels in the Middle East and South Asia, including India, Bhutan, and Nepal. "The economies in this sector of the world are booming and are generating a significant amount of inbound and outbound traffic," Harkham noted. "Having experienced, global representation on the ground will allow us to capture a significantly larger amount of business for our member hotels.

"We added five hotels in Greece in the first half, bringing to 12 the number of properties we serve in the country," he said. "The new Athens office will support those properties as well as growth in the Balkans and other nearby countries," he said. "Enhancing our operations out of London was a logical response to our continued growth in the United Kingdom and Western Europe." Luxe now has five offices in Europe.

New hotels added in the 2007 first half were located in Spain (five hotels), Greece (five hotels), the United States (four hotels), Japan and Portugal (three hotels each), France (two hotels) and Argentina, Australia and Italy (one hotel each).

"International travel bookings for Luxe hotels are strong for all travel market segments," Harkham said. "We recently published our first electronic groups directory, which already is being well utilized globally and is having a dramatic impact on meetings and convention bookings. Virtually all other key segments remain extremely active. We anticipate another record year in revenue generation in 2007 for our member hotels."
