SANTA BARBARA, CA, June 27, 2007. Just one year after launching the comprehensive online Beverly Clark Hospitality Training Program, Beverly Clark Enterprises (BCE) announced plans to greatly expand the program under the direction of their new Sr. Vice President of Business Development and Education, Lynne LaFond DeLuca. "Lynne brings an amazing skill set to our company," said Jay Klanfer, president of BCE. "With her background in sales and training, as well as catering, she is perfect to diversify our Training Programs and take them beyond weddings into the many areas of the hospitality industry that our clients have asked for."

Formerly Vice President of Membership and Sales as well as Vice President of Private Events with ClubCorp, Ms. LaFond DeLuca has a wide range of hands-on hospitality experience. "I'm thrilled to be part of the Beverly Clark Enterprises team," Ms. LaFond DeLuca said. "Having worked with and trained GMs as well as sales and social catering personnel for the past 15 years, I know the challenges they face in increasing sales, building strong teams and generating more revenue. Having the opportunity to offer training in these areas to the hospitality industry as a whole is very exciting." Ms. LaFond DeLuca pointed out that she will be expanding not only the online Beverly Clark Training offerings but also continue to create custom training programs to meet the needs of specific hotel groups, private clubs, catering venues and golf courses. Courses will include everything from increasing overall catering revenues to "train the trainer" type of education to developing and creating marketing plans. Programs can be customized to focus on specific company goals.

The original online Beverly Clark Hospitality Training Program is specifically designed for wedding and special event professionals to prepare them for today's brides by giving them the tools and tactics needed to stay competitive and gain as much revenue as possible from the lucrative $80 billion wedding industry. Upon completion, the catering professional has earned a "Certified Beverly Clark Wedding Professional" designation. A preview of the program is available at www.beverlyclarktraining.com/demo . Over the past year, several in-person training programs have also been offered, as well as customized programs for specific clients.
