Tropicana Announces Resignation of COO

MAY 10, 2007. Howard Reinhardt has resigned as Senior Vice President of Casino Operations at Tropicana Casinos & Resorts and Tropicana Entertainment to take the top gaming position at an east coast real estate and hotel development company with a start up gaming operation. Reinhardt has been with Tropicana for the past 10 years.

'Howard has been a valuable member of our operating team,' said Tropicana CEO William J. Yung, III, 'and we wish him every success with his new endeavor. In the meantime, he will remain with us for the next month to assist with the necessary transition.'

Yung said that a search for Reinhardt's replacement has already begun. In the interim, existing management, including the Company's CEO and two regional Vice Presidents, will oversee casino operations.

Tropicana Casinos & Resorts, Inc. is one of the largest privately held casino gaming companies in the United States. Its 13 casino properties include the legendary Tropicana in Las Vegas, which is slated for a major redevelopment program beginning this fall, and its sister venue in Atlantic City.
