Benchmark Appoints Director of Catering at Heldrich

HOUSTON, TX, May 3, 2007. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Taryn A. White as director of catering for The Heldrich, which recently opened in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Mike Taylor, Benchmark's general manager for The Heldrich, made the announcement. "It is with pleasure that I welcome Taryn to our property," said Mr. Taylor. "She comes with significant experience in catering sales for first-class hotels and exclusive clubs and is a great addition to our sales leadership team."

Taryn White brings extensive expertise in high-end corporate and social events to her new position at The Heldrich. She was previously catering sales manager for the Mandarin Oriental in New York, where she was an instrumental part of a highly successful catering sales team.

Previous to this appointment, Ms. White was catering sales manager for the prestigious Yale Club, located in Midtown Manhattan. She has also served as event planner for Elizabeth K. Allen of New York City.

Taryn White earned her Bachelor's degree from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration. She resides in Princeton, New Jersey.
