Accor NA Names Paul O'neal Sr Director Safety and Security
OCTOBER 13, 2006. Accor North America announced the hiring of Paul O'Neal as senior director of Safety and Security for territory which includes the State of California. O'Neal's responsibilities include overseeing the security for 185 Accor properties, handling all investigations at Accor locations, providing support and training for General Managers and Area Managers, acting as a liaison to law enforcement agencies, and conducting routine inspections of properties to insure quality and safety.
O'Neal comes to Accor with more than 33 years of private investigation experience, specializing in complex cases. His experience includes conducting civil investigations for the California Department of Justice and other state law enforcement and public entities, trial preparation: plaintiff and defendant, in-depth witness interviews, service of summons and subpoenas, locate, review and report case supporting documents, witness preparation for trial, surveillance, trial preparation, accident investigation, 'personal protection' for various NBA athletes and musical performers and additional specialized investigative services.
O'Neal's education includes an associate's degree in administrative justice from Sacramento City College, and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from California State University in Sacramento, California. He attended Lincoln Law School and is certified in Background Investigations by California Commission of Peace Officer Standards and Training. O'Neal is currently involved in the California Association of Licensed Investigators, and the Criminal Justice Alumni Chapter at the California State University, Sacramento. Further, he is the only non-law enforcement individual to receive the 'Professional Accomplishment' award by California State University, Sacramento Criminal Justice Division.
