Benchmark Appoints Director Rooms Cheyenne Mountain Resort

HOUSTON, TX, February 20, 2008. Benchmark Hospitality International has appointed Scott Marble director of rooms for Cheyenne Mountain Resort, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Laura Neumann, vice president and general manager, made the announcement.

"It is my pleasure to announce Scott's appointment, which represents a promotion for him," said Ms. Neumann. "He has been an integral part of our Rooms division since joining us in 1999."

Scott Marble was most recently director of individual travel for Cheyenne Mountain Resort, a position he held since 2005. He served as front office manager and front desk manager prior to this.

During his tenure with the resort, Mr. Marble has been instrumental in the success of Cheyenne's Revenue Management program, doing so by developing a strong transient guest revenue base. He has also created Internet and yield pricing models for the resort, advanced dynamic packaging, and developed corporate relationships to drive occupancy.

Mr. Marble represents Benchmark Hospitality on a national level through his active role in the National Business Travel Association. He has served on multiple task forces for the company in the past several years, including those for Hotel Contessa, Bedford Springs Resort, and The Northland Inn. He began his hospitality career working in the front office at The Mirage in Las Vegas.

Scott Marble has been honored with two prestigious industry awards, including "Industry Manager of the Year" from the Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau, and "Sales & Marketing Supervisor of the Year" from the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association.

Marble's avocation, along with that of his wife, is the arts with a special emphasis on ballet. He has been a member of the Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, Ballet West in Salt Lake City, and the Nevada Ballet Theatre in Las Vegas.

Mr. Marble is a graduate of The University of New Hampshire where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration. He and his wife reside in Colorado Springs.
