K Partners Break Ground for Courtyard by Marriott, San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, Texas-based K Partners Hospitality Group, LP today announced the groundbreaking of the newest addition to the company's portfolio, the Courtyard by Marriott in Westover Hills-San Antonio, Texas. The announcement was made by K Partners Executive Vice President of Investments and Development Mark Crisci.
The 180-room Courtyard will be located in northwest San Antonio within the 1,270-acre, master-planned development Westover Hills. Guests to the Courtyard will be nearby local attractions such as SeaWorld San Antonio, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the River Walk, the Alamo, and the San Antonio Zoo. In addition, the hotel will be ideally located for business travelers to the region with companies such as Microsoft, Chase Bank, the World Savings and Loan Association, and Philips Semiconductors all nearby within Westover Hills.
The Generation 4 prototype Courtyard will feature an oversized lobby with a restaurant and lounge area, complimentary high-speed internet access and wireless internet in public areas, 8,000 square-feet of function and meeting space, an expansive indoor/outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool, and an oversized exercise room. Rooms will be fully equipped with double queen- and King-sized beds, rich new linens and pillows, a complete in-room entertainment package, guest laundry services and a large, ergonomic chair and workspace, ideal for business travelers. The hotel will also feature 40 suites when complete.
