MIAMI BEACH, FL, July 28, 2005. Distinguished Hotels International has set a course to expand its reach in North America by adding new members to its notable collection of independent boutique hotels worldwide as well as hiring a public relations agency to help build the company's brand among travel agents and consumers.

"We've enjoyed tremendous success in other parts of the world, and now we've set our sights on expanding our portfolio in North America to create a more balanced list of member hotels, particularly in the independent boutique category that has become the trademark of our group," said William Burruss, Jr., president of Distinguished Hotels International.

To meet these objectives, Distinguished Hotels International is launching an enhanced awareness campaign focused on using public relations and has hired Kahn Travel Communications (KTC), a long-time travel and hospitality industry marketing, public relations and publishing firm.

Kahn Travel Communications
