320 Guest Ranch Goes Wireless
Staying Highly Connected in Montana's Scenic Gallatin River Valley
MONTANA, September 30, 2005. The 320 Guest Ranch, Montana's premier year-round ranch destination, has announced the installation of an StarBand 484 Earth Station wireless system, which enables direct Wi-Fi high speed connection to the Internet from points throughout the ranch.
The announcement was made by General Manager Patricia Sage, who said "this technology enables guests, whether at the ranch for business or pleasure, to stay connected at the highest speed possible to the office and their family." Sage went on to say, "we've decided to accommodate our guests further by offering this as a complimentary service."
Internet Connectivity with the StarBand 484 Earth Station wireless system is via satellite to the ground, which is then distributed to Wi-Fi compliant Access Points throughout the Ranch. The 320 Guest Ranch is situated in the heart of the picturesque Gallatin River Valley, twelve miles outside of Big Sky and near the border to Yellowstone National Park.
