Phoenix Park , Washington DC Launches Summer Specials

WASHINGTON, DC, May 27, 2008. Phoenix Park Hotel, a well-established Washington DC hotel near Capitol Hill, recently rolled out its summer discounts and specials program to encourage both leisure and corporate function bookings through the summer months and into the late year.

Due to the proximity of the property to the National Mall, key government buildings, and popular tourist attractions like the Smithsonian Museums, the hotel maintains a diverse customer base ranging from DC sightseers to celebrities, lobby advocates, Fortune 500 company representatives, and political leaders. The new program reflects this blend.

For leisure travel, Phoenix Park Hotel has developed attraction-based packages that give direction to first-time visitors on their Washington vacations. Partnered attractions include the Old Town Trolley, City Running Tours(TM), and Nationals Park, offering tickets to see the Washington Nationals (MLB) play at their new stadium. In response to rising cost concerns, a gasoline credit offer is also being introduced.
