Leading Electronic Lock Provider Contributes to Florida-based Foundation For Children with Life-thre
DALLAS, TX, September 15, 2008. VingCard(R), a leading hospitality security provider and part of the ASSA ABLOY Hospitality Group, today announced it will again contribute products and services to Give Kids The World, a charitable foundation dedicated to providing memorable, magical, cost-free experiences to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. VingCard began donating to the foundation nearly 15 years ago, and through its latest contribution the company agreed to supply and install Classic by VingCard electronic locks on 44 guestroom doors at the Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee, Fla.

Give Kids The World was founded by Henri Landwirth in 1986, and in 1989 the organization opened the Give Kids The World Village, a 70-acre, non-profit resort that provides cost-free fantasy vacations for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, including accommodations, donated attraction tickets, meals and more. With the help of its supporters, Give Kids The World has welcomed more than 89,000 families from all 50 states and more than 65 countries.
