Bring 'Delphi in the Classroom' Program to Students

. February 09, 2009

FEBRUARY 9, 2009 - Once again, Hospitality and Tourism students at Niagara College Canada are given the leading edge in securing employment.

Niagara College Canada Hospitality and Tourism division has joined the "Delphi in the Classroom" program. This program gives Niagara college students access to a complete suite of first-class eLearning courses from Newmarket International, the makers of Delphi. Delphi is the leading sales and catering application used by over 80,000 hospitality professionals worldwide. Because its use is so widespread, knowledge of the application will help students secure employment in today's competitive market place.

'Hospitality and Tourism students in both the diploma and business degree programs know that the usual practice within hospitality and tourism workplaces is to train newly hired employees on hospitality-related computer applications. Niagara College students will have a significant competitive edge because they will be ready to start booking business on day one,' stated J. David Berry, MBA Professor/Coordinator, Niagara College.

"Newmarket International is excited to help foster the growth of the next generation of hospitality professionals," said Sean O'Neill, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Newmarket International, Inc. "Now more than ever, students need to enter the marketplace with credentials that make them stand apart from their peers."
