Lake Lawn Resort Promotes Zellmer to GM

GENEVA LAKES, WI, February 17, 2009 - Having recently completed a $40 million renovation, Lake Lawn Resort has made another major statement. Peter Zellmer, director of sales and marketing since 2007, has been promoted to general manager of the property.

With nearly 20 years of hotel industry experience, Zellmer has raised the average daily rate at Lake Lawn Resort by 10 percent over his tenure and initiated improvements throughout the property. He restructured the Resort's sales, catering and conference service departments and implemented a new training program for employees. Zellmer also oversaw the development of a new Web site, which increased search engine optimization by 64 percent, actively participated in community and industry organizations, and oversaw integrated marketing.

Prior to joining Lake Lawn Resort, Zellmer oversaw sales at Denver's Brown Palace Hotel & Spa and The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, Wis. Zellmer began his career with the Palmer House Hilton and O'Hare Hilton, both in Chicago.
