Ritz-Carlton Orlando Builds Extension
ORLANDO, FL, October 24, 2005. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel here has begun construction on an addition, which will add a 14,635-square foot ballroom and 5,000-square feet of pre-function space. The work is scheduled for completion in September 2006.
The new facilitiy will give the 584-room property, which is part of Marriott International's larger Grande Lakes Resort here, a total of 47,635-square feet of group space. For extra flexibility, the ballroom was designed to be divisible into eight. At full capacity, it can hold 1,500 people.
