MARCH 25, 2009 - The Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID) invites you to experience Georgetown Life. The BID is extending an invitation to travel journalists for an all-day press day to take a decidedly different look at Georgetown, one of Washington DC's most vibrant neighborhoods.
Both hip and historic, Georgetown offers an exciting combination of treasures from the traditional to the unique. Tour the iconic M street and meet the talented entrepreneurs and personalities behind its boutique shops, art galleries and restaurants. We will recommend an itinerary that offers a close up view of the area, which will reveal hidden gems and surprises -- encompassing everything from home d'ecor, metal art jewelry, and fashion to cycling.
