Tenerife Tourism Corporation to Present New Communication Style

LONDON, UK, November 2, 1005. Jose Manuel Bermudez, Minister of Tourism for Tenerife; Alberto Bernabe, Managing Director of Turismo de Tenerife, the executive team and members of The Tenerife Tourism Corporation will be on Stand EM760 within the Canary Island Zone on Monday November 14th at 12:00 noon to present their new communication style.
A new logo that reflects the Islands diversity, charm and ability to offer everything the 21st Century tourist requires under the simple message 'enjoy it all' has been created and will be on show as well as new promotional material and a destination update.
Turismo de Tenerife are fully aware of the change in global tourism trends, namely; the rise in short break holidays, a growth in independent trips rather than through tour operators, use of the Internet for both information and booking and increase in both low cost airlines and hotel beds - this re-branding carries the message that Tenerife has everything their clients desire and invites them to 'enjoy it all'.
The Government of Tenerife secured the services of the prestigious international agency Futurebrand to develop their image and brand design. In-depth research was carried out in Spain, England and Germany before action was undertaken.
Tenerife pioneered Tourism segmentation strategies that have been adopted by other destinations. The zones of golf, culture, health, rural and nature will be taken further under this brand development.
