HFTP to Offer Two Online European-focused, Hospitality Education Sessions
AUGUST 31, 2006. Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has planned two online educational sessions covering the European hospitality community.
The sessions, Makeup of the European Hotel Market and U.K. Immigration, are designed to support HFTP's growing international membership, as well as the increasing trend for businesses to expand globally. The two sessions will be given through HFTP's ProLinks online community, which offers regularly-scheduled educational sessions, as well as discussion forums and a resource center. The live, online format is intended to allow for an open dialogue between session participants and the speaker without having to leave the office.

The first session, Makeup of the European Hotel Market, will be held on September 6, 2006 at 15:00 CEST/14:00 BST/9:00 a.m. EST. The presenters, Ian Millar and Hillary Murphy, will provide information for vendors or companies looking to move into Europe, as well as discuss the large difference between the U.S. and European hotel markets.
The second session, U.K. Immigration, will be held September 21, 2006 at 15:00 CEST/14:00 BST/9:00 a.m. EST. Presented by Simon Kenny, solicitor for and on behalf of PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal LLP, the session will detail U.K. immigration law.
All interested hospitality professionals are welcome to attend the sessions, although seating is limited. Recorded versions will be available for those who cannot attend the live session.
