Final Plans for Las Vegas Central are Approved by Clark County Commissioner
LAS VEGAS, NV, November 2, 2005. The Clark County Commissioner's office today approved the plans for Las Vegas Central, the new 40-story high-rise condominium community located near the Las Vegas Convention Center. Scheduled for completion in summer 2007, Langson Development, the project's developer, will commence construction as soon as permits are issued by Clark County.
The approval from the Commissioner is the last in a series of approvals required to move Las Vegas Central forward to completion, including approvals from the Federal Aviation Administration and the Clark County Planning Commission. It was the Planning Commission that recommended the project for approval to the Commissioner's Office, sending the project onward to the Commissioner's office with no comments and no debate.
"The Planning Commission's approval with no comments amounts to an 'A-plus' grade for Las Vegas Central from the county, which has us all the more excited to commence construction and bring our community to the Las Vegas landscape," said Bruce Langson, president of Langson Development. "Our enthusiasm for the project is based in our belief that what we are bringing to fruition will transform the lives of many Las Vegans. As a high-rise condominium community, Las Vegas Central will set a new standard for luxury and comfortable living. As a gathering place, Las Vegas Central will become the ideal location for the great people of this city to connect with each other, to celebrate and savor the finest things life has to offer. This final approval brings us one step closer to realizing our goals."
Las Vegas Central's recent redesign has reaffirmed its status as the ideal community for all who live, work, and play in Las Vegas. Residents can enjoy their lifestyle upgrade every moment of the day. They will wake up in the luxury of a gorgeous condominium home and spend the day savoring a full slate of resort-style amenities, including no less than eight swimming pools, two of which are perfectly situated to take advantage of Las Vegas Central's stunning panoramic views of the Strip.
As the sun sets behind the mountains, Las Vegas Central's full slate of dining, shopping, and entertainment options will insure that an "evening out" in Las Vegas will never be the same. Residents and locals alike will take advantage of Las Vegas Central's 100,000 square feet of retail and commercial space and enjoy dinner and drinks at some of the city's finest venues.
Las Vegas Central is designed by the world-renowned Jerde Partnership, an award-winning architectural firm. The striking visual of Las Vegas Central's crystalline cityscape will become as much a Vegas icon as Jerde's other area projects, which include the Bellagio, Wynn Las Vegas, and Palms hotels. Prices start in the $300,000s, with the largest non-penthouse units offering over 3,500 square feet of living space.
