Joie de Vivre Hospitality's First Foray into Southern California Market

LOS ANGELES, CA, November 1, 2005 - Marking its first strategic move into the Southern California market, San Francisco-based Joie de Vivre Hospitality today announced the development of Hotel Angeleno, Los Angeles' newest boutique property, set to open in February 2006.

Hotel Angeleno is located at the well-known intersection of Interstate 405 and Sunset Boulevard, in Brentwood, Calif. Joie de Vivre will manage the property under the direction of Los Angeles-based GH Capital, LLC. Hotel Angeleno's complete multi-million dollar renovation will feature 209 guestrooms, including three one-bedroom suites, four unique meeting spaces, a heated outdoor pool and lounge area, and a full fitness center. The property's iconic circular design will be updated with a new, casual yet luxurious interior and a modern, understated exterior finish courtesy of Jo Fusion, Inc. Hotel Angeleno will also host West, a new 17th floor penthouse restaurant and lounge with breathtaking panoramic views of Santa Monica and Los Angeles. West will be operated by the renowned CB5 Restaurant Group, which has worked with W Hotel, Starwood and Fairmont properties across the country.

These properties represent a total of over 2,800 rooms and include eight distinctive restaurants and bars.
