NORTH LIBERTY, IA, November 7, 2005. Kinseth Hospitality Companies (KHC), an Iowa based hotel development and management company, in partnership with Marty McNamer, of McNamer Construction Systems, and Richard Hartig, of Hartig Drug, has begun construction on a 97-unit Hampton Inn, at the Dodge Street and Wacker Drive intersection in Dubuque, Iowa. The Hampton Inn will be located along the rapidly expanding Dodge Street commercial corridor on the west side of Dubuque.

The site of the Hampton Inn was formerly occupied by the Best Western Dubuque Inn. The Best Western was purchased by Marty McNamer and Dick Hartig in early 2005, for the purpose of redeveloping the entire five-acre site. Two retail or restaurant buildings are expected to be developed in the near future at this site in addition to the Hampton Inn.

The three-story, Hampton Inn, will feature approximately 600 square feet of meeting space, an executive boardroom, business center, an indoor swimming pool, fitness area, and high-speed internet connections.

The Hampton Inn is expected to open for guests during the summer of 2006 and will service the commercial travelers in west Dubuque, and the leisure travel generated by Kennedy Mall, theaters and restaurants in the Dodge Street corridor.

Project partners participating in the development of the Hampton Inn are Straka Johnson Architects, McNamer Construction Systems the general contractor, and Premier Bank, the lender for the project.

KHC also owns and operates the Holiday Inn Dubuque, located in downtown Dubuque that caters to group and association meetings, and leisure business emanating from tourist developments located along the Mississippi River

KHC has properties under development in Omaha, Nebraska, and in Chicago, Illinois, at Midway Airport.
