Regent Arrives in China

SHANGHAI, China, November 09, 2005. Regent International Hotels has announced the opening of its first luxury hotel in China. The Regent Shanghai.

The 511-room hotel is owned by Summit Property Development Co. and managed by Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific. Norman Rafelson, General Manager of The Regent Shanghai, said: "As a major regional gateway city and the economic capital of China, Shanghai is a strategic global location for the Regent hotel brand. We are very privileged to be working with Summit Property Development Co. for the opening of our first Regent hotel in China."
