Wisconsin Innkeepers Association Names Officers and Directors for 2006
Lola Roeh, GM of the Osthoff Resort, Named Chairman of the Board
BROOKFIELD, WI, November 14, 2005. The Wisconsin Innkeepers Association (WIA) is pleased to announce the Officers for its 2006 Board of Directors.
Elected as the 2006 Chairman of the Board is Lola Roeh. Roeh is the General Manager of the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, and is the recipient of the 2002 WIA Innkeeper of the Year Award. She is the current Vice-Chairman of the WIA Legislative / Tourism Committee and a past Chairman of the WIA communications / Marketing Committee. Roeh is also current appointee to the Governor's Council on Tourism, a position she has held since 2003.
The 2006 WIA Chairman-Elect is Jeff Machut. Machut is a past WIA Manager of the Year Award Recipient and is the Owner and General Manager of the AmericInn Lodge & Suites of Madison South. He has previously chaired the WIA Legislative/Tourism Committee and served on the Governor's Small Business Regulatory Reform Task Force.
John Williams, CHA, the General Manager of The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, is the 2006 WIA Vice Chairman. He has served on the WIA Board of Directors and various WIA Committees for the past four years, also serving as an officer of the Greater Milwaukee Hotel-Motel Association.
Elected to the position of 2006 WIA Secretary/Treasurer is Scott Krause, General Manager of the Heidel House in Green Lake. Krause was recently honored with the 2005 WIA Innkeeper of the Year Award at the 2005 Wisconsin Lodging Conference. He has also served as the Chairman of the WIA Communications/Marketing Committee.
Chosen to serve as the Wisconsin Director to the American Hotel & Lodging Association, Denise Stillman of Foremost Management Services, Sturgeon Bay. Stillman has served the WIA as a Past Chairman of the Board and in numerous leadership positions for the Association.
