Seychelles Launches SUBIOS.com
THE SEYCHELLES, December 23, 2005. The Seychelles Tourism Board has officially launched SUBIOS.com, a new website about the country's annual underwater film and image festival. The site is otherwise known as Sub Indian Ocean Seychelles (SUBIOS. Designed and built in-house by an all Seychellois team at STB, SUBIOS.com provides information about the festival's events, its video and photography competitions, guest speakers.
The website also features special diving, accommodation and flight packages to Seychelles for potential visitors interested in participating in the festival, complete with online booking forms. "SUBIOS.com is a great new tool for us to generate interest about Seychelles and its unique diving opportunities," said Herv'e Chang-Yunn, manager of STB's Destination Management System. "We hope this will translate into increased business for local dive operators, and the site itself will continue to be a great platform for SUBIOS to grow as an event of international repute."
