Hospitality Management Corporation Opens $8.5 million Staybridge Suites
DALLAS, TX, December 28, 2005. Hospitality Management Corporation (HMC) is pleased to announce the successful opening of the new Staybridge Suites in Brownsville, Texas, on November 14, 2005.
The new extended-stay property features 99 spacious suites with full kitchens. Amenities include high-speed internet access, outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sport court, fitness center, and business center. The General Manager of the new hotel is Edgar Bernal, Connie Hensley is the Director of Sales and Marketing, and Davina Perez is the Accounting Manager. Cost was $8.5 million.
The Targeted Market: tourists and shoppers from Mexico, and U.S. business people visiting the numerous manufacturing plants across the Mexican border. The General Manager, Edgar Bernal has spent several years in the hospitality industry in the Brownsville area, with 5 years as Assistant Manager with Travelers Inns and 4 years as a General Manager with Red Roof Inns.
