Meetings East Magazine Awards the Hotel Viking the Best of the East Award
NEWPORT, RI, June 21, 2005. Hotel Viking, the 222-room property located on historic Bellevue Avenue in the heart of Newport, has been awarded a 'Best of the East' Award by Meetings East magazine for the fifth consecutive year.
The awards are voted on exclusively by the magazine's meeting planner audience. Hotel Viking is the only property in Rhode Island to be honored with this award, and one of only seven properties on the award list to have received it all five times since the magazine's inception.
