Lodging Industry Leaders to Hear From Prominent Speakers
At AH&LA Legislative Action Summit
WASHINGTON, dc, March 1, 2006. Influential Members of Congress and high-level White House officials will address attendees at the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) 9th Annual Legislative Action Summit (LAS), March 7-8, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Topics on this year's agenda include immigration reform, small business health plans, and labor-related issues. On Tuesday, March 7, attendees convene at the White House for a briefing with Andrew Card and Allyson Ho. A HotelPAC Dinner with Members of Congress takes place Tuesday evening. On Wednesday attendees will hear from Members of Congress in the morning and spend the afternoon on Capitol Hill meeting with their legislators. The Summit concludes with a Congressional Reception. Kellyanne Conway, a Washington commentator and author of "What Women Really Want: How American Women Are Quietly Erasing Political, Racial, Class, and Religious Lines to Change the Way We Live," will lead a discussion. The event is open to all members of the hospitality industry.
