The Leading Hotel Schools of the World Hosts Second International Leadership Seminar
NEW YORK, NY, March 6, 2006. The Leading Hotel Schools of the World, a joint venture of The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. and a number of hospitality institutions from around the world, successfully completed the second in its series of International Leadership Seminars.
Taking place in Manhattan at the New York Palace February 27 and 28, 2006, the program provided management professionals a forum in which they were able to discuss and explore the latest trends in recruiting, training, and motivating staff.
Commenting the International Leadership Seminar program, Paul M. McManus, president and chief executive officer of The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd., said, "We are very gratified with the success of these events. We have excellent resources through The Leading Hotel Schools of the World and our more than 430 member hotels to develop innovative educational opportunities that can be tailored to the specific needs of any hotel or hospitality-related business.

Attendees - from Europe, North and South America and the Caribbean - responded very positively to the program. Particularly well-received were presentations on "Employee Engagement Strategies" by Rick Garlick of Maritz Hospitality Research Group, and "Leading High-Performance Teams" by Colin Hunter of HunterRoberts.
