Omni Hotels Extends Its International Reach
Global Hotel Alliance Positions Omni Hotels With Other Luxury Brands Worldwide
IRVING, TX, March 8, 2006. Omni Hotels aims to broaden its international coverage with plans to join the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), a network of luxury brands with hotels and resorts in more than 150 destinations in 55 countries.
"We've sought opportunities over the years to expand our brand's message in the global marketplace. Joining forces with the strong brands of the GHA provides traction in these previously under addressed, valuable markets and complements our steady growth across North America," said Mike Deitemeyer, president of Omni Hotels. "In today's global economy, the frequency of international travel continues to grow, elevating the importance of exposing our brand and assisting our customers in other parts of the world."
The GHA is a grouping of like-minded hotel brands known for luxury level quality and impeccable service in different regions of the world. Founding partners include Kempinski Hotels, Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts and Rydges Hotels & Resorts. They have a shared goal of offering international travelers peace of mind by helping select accommodations that meet exacting standards.
Omni Hotels intends to increase its awareness among international travelers by leveraging GHA partner sales networks and guest loyalty programs. GHA partners will recommend Omni locations to customers seeking accommodations outside the partner's core region of strength. Omni also will receive added exposure through GHA's Web site, http://www.globalhotelalliance.com/ , and other marketing opportunities. Omni's plans include recognition of the members of the partnering hotels' loyalty programs, just as members of Omni's Select Guest(R) program will receive their benefits when staying with a GHA property.
