Westerville, OH, to Study Feasibility of New Hotel

. October 14, 2008

WESTERVILLE, OH, April 10, 2006. A developer of the 165-acre Altair project here and an Atlanta hotel developer have been joined to study whether or not the city should build a 250-room hotel and conference center off Polaris Parkway.

The Westerville Industry and Commerce Commission, a non-profit affiliate of the city, has approved contributing $50,000 to help Altair developer Jerome Solove Development Inc. and hotel developer Noble Investment Group fund the $150,000 study. A hotel site plan, financing plan, preliminary design and a marketing study are expected within 90 days, according to local reports.

The city's Westar Center of Business commercial district along Polaris Parkway, which includes Altair, has attracted office projects to be near the nearby Polaris Centers of Commerce mixed-use development.
