IAHI, The Owners' Association of IHG, Promotes Sarah Evans to Director of Business Services
ATLANTA, GA, July 13, 2005. IAHI, the Owners' Association of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), has promoted Sarah Evans, membership manager, to its newly created position of director of business services, announces President Eva Ferguson.
In this capacity, Evans will be responsible for oversight for all IAHI board, officers, committee meetings and activities, as well as association special events and industry meetings. She also will oversee the management of the international committee process and communications, and assist in establishing new membership benefits for the nearly 2,700-member association. IAHI members own and operate InterContinental Hotels Group brand properties worldwide, including Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, and Candlewood Suites hotels.

Evans joined IAHI in November 2001, as its meetings, special projects, and membership coordinator. She was later promoted to membership manager in December 2003, where she managed all programs for members and associate members by establishing an effective sales plan that resulted in increased revenue. She created the MembershipNet Database, developed the Associate Membership program, and managed the INN-PAC political action committee.
