Rosario Bianchi Named GM Fitzpatrick Grand Central

NEW YORK, NY, June 12, 2006. Rosario Bianchi has been promoted to general manager for the Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel, 141 E. 44th Street, according to John Fitzpatrick, CEO-North America for the Fitzpatrick Hotel Group. In his new role, Bianchi will lead the operations of the 155-room hotel, meeting facilities, with additional responsibilities overseeing the Wheeltapper Pub.

"Rosario brings a wealth of experience in hospitality to our team, and his commitment to providing top customer service enhances our ability to provide a welcoming destination in the midst of New York City's bustle," said Fitzpatrick.

Bianchi's experience in hospitality ranges from conference services and food and beverage management, to catering and room sales, and front of the house management. Prior to joining the Fitzpatrick Hotel Group as assistant general manager in 2005, he worked with the Morgans Hotel Group's Gramercy Park Hotel. He also served in a variety of roles with Hyatt Hotels at the Grand Hyatt New York and Hyatt Regency Baltimore, and with the Waldorf=Astoria.

Bianchi earned a bachelor of arts degree in professional studies management at Cazenovia College in Syracuse, New York. Originally from New York City, he currently resides in Queens with his wife.
