MAY 22, 2009 - Hilton Garden Inn, one of the fastest growing brands within the Hilton Family of Hotels, is pleased to announce the opening of the 104-room Hilton Garden Inn Dothan in Dothan, Ala., representing another addition to the brand's growing collection of more than 450 Hilton Garden Inn locations across North America, Europe and Central America.

The Hilton Garden Inn Dothan is operated by Apple Hospitality under a license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation.

Larry Blumberg & Associates, based in Dothan, manages the hotel. Marty Baylor, recently appointed general manager of the hotel, opened the Hampton Inn & Suites in Dothan and has returned to open the Hilton Garden Inn -- the second Hilton Family hotel managed by Larry Blumberg & Associates.

The three-story Hilton Garden Inn Dothan features guestrooms and suites offering the Garden Sleep System(R) bed; ergonomic Mirra(R) chair by Herman Miller; complimentary wired and Wi-Fi high speed Internet access; PrinterOn complimentary remote printing from the guestroom; a high definition flat screen television; and clock that allows guests to play their MP3 player. The hotel also features a complimentary 24-hour business center; a comfortable lounge area to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or unwind at the end of the day; and three meeting rooms within 1,800 square-feet of flexible meeting space.

For dining options, the hotel features the Great American Grill(R) restaurant offering freshly prepared breakfast and dinner; evening room service (5:00 - 9:00 p.m.) and the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry(R) convenience mart with a selection of refrigerated, frozen and microwaveable packaged items, and sundries.
