MICROS' HSI Profit Series POS Benefits Peabody Little Rock
Hospitality Solutions International (HSI), a division of MICROS Systems, Inc., and a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry celebrates with Peabody Hotel Group's (PHG), Peabody Little Rock, one year after installation.
After replacing an older POS System, the Peabody Little Rock has streamlined its operations saving both time and money. Under the terms of the agreement, HSI provided a new file server, POS terminals, and a direct interface to its retail inventory program. For years, Peabody Little Rock had operated its retail outlet with a separate Point of Sale.
Reduced Operating Costs
"By integrating Profit Series to our retail stores we no longer have to manually upload inventory levels into the POS. The consolidation of retail sales data into the Daily Sales Report has saved us countless hours, reducing our operating cost over the past year," stated Terry Ozanich, Controller at Peabody Little Rock.
Peabody Little Rock installed the HSI Profit Series POS system one year ago and now joins five other PHG properties using the Profit Series POS, including the prestigious Peabody branded locations in Memphis and Orlando, as well as Crowne Plaza Natick, Holiday Inn Boston-Somerville, and Hilton Greenville, three franchised locations. Peabody is also able to take advantage of the latest Profit Series POS features such as increased credit card security and support for wireless handheld devices, such as the iPod touch(R).
