Nexus Launches New Hotel Training Program
JUNE 3, 2009 - Hotel Sales Management specialists Nexus World Services announced today the launch of a new training initiative, Nexus Open Training, a free service for Nexus clients designed to prepare them for the imminent 2010 hotel RFP season.
A series of 60 minute online sessions will be hosted every Friday throughout June and July covering all aspects of the Corporate and Consortia bidding process, from basic set-up to bid customization, monitoring & control, and handling renegotiations. The training is open to all Nexus 'chain level' clients (not individual hotels), though participation must be pre-registered and spaces per session will be limited. Each session will be held in both EMEA and The Americas to enable access to Nexus' worldwide client base.
Nexus' Managing Director, Geoff Andrew, explains, 'This is the time of year when many sales and distribution managers have to get to grips with managing RFPs for the first time in months. Nexus offers a whole range of options for hotels to control the rate negotiation process to their advantage and we want to make sure that everyone maximizes the potential of the system.'
The first session takes place on Friday June 5 and covers the updating of worXcentral(TM), Nexus' hotel information database.
