Fort Lauderdale, FL - August 11, 2010 - Families with a gap in their summer vacation planning, or those looking ahead to a special fall or winter getaway, may want to consider going back to (Aqua) School. Elegant Hotels Group in Barbados has unveiled its new “Aqua School,” featuring free instruction in a range of water sports and free use of equipment, at three of its five superb Barbados hotels and Resorts, including Colony Club, Turtle Beach and Crystal Cove. The renovated Tamarind will join the Aqua School roster when the hotel reopens on November 1st, 2010, following a remarkable four-month makeover.

At Elegant Hotels' legendary west coast properties, including Colony Club, Tamarind, and Crystal Cove, complimentary Aqua School instruction and activities available daily include: kayaking, snorkeling, water skiing; sailing; wind surfing; wake boarding and knee boarding. The young at heart at the adults-only House also have access to neighboring Tamarind's water sports program. Stand-up paddle boards are offered at Colony Club, with Saturday clinics to educate guests on the Barbadian pastime.
