We are very pleased to announce two of our hotels have undergone a major remodel and have been repositioned to upscale brands.

The former Wyndham Gardens Hotel underwent a multi-million dollar renovation and conversion to a Sheraton in Pleasanton, California. Sheraton is one of the upscale brands of the Starwood Corporation group of hotels. The conversion and remodel was completed by Rim Construction Services. Rim Hospitality CEO Mark Burden noted, "We are delighted to have the opportunity to manage this fine hotel under the Sheraton flag. Starwood's wide marketing network and its Starwood Preferred Guest program provide us an opportunity to maximize the potential at this property."

Across the Bay from San Francisco in Emeryville, the remodeled Hilton Garden Inn opened on December 15th. A variety of circumstances meant that the transition from Holiday Inn to Hilton Garden Inn had to be accomplished quickly and smoothly. Jay Barter, Rim's Chief Operating Officer explained that, "Our team has successfully dealt with a change in franchise and at the same time satisfying the varied needs of a new owner, and this had to be done in record time." Barter gave credit for this success to Rim's special transition team, headed by Dan Evans.
