Margaret Rosen Joins Mystic Marriott Team as Director of Catering Operations
GROTON, CT - November 5, 2010 - The Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton, CT has appointed Margaret Rosen as its new Director of Catering Operations. In her new role, Rosen will oversee the Mystic Marriott's catering staff in scheduling and servicing all catering and banquet operations for the 285-room full-service hotel. Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel management firm, professionally manages the Mystic Marriott.
With more than 12 years of catering and sales management experience, Rosen joins the Mystic Marriott team with acute knowledge of running the catering operations of a large, full-service hotel. She joins the Mystic Marriott from her most recent position as Director of Catering and Conference Services at the Jumeirah Essex House Hotel in New York City. She also previously served as Senior Catering Sales Manager for the New York Marquis Hotel and Catering Sales Manager for the Righa Royal JW Marriott Hotel, also in New York. Rosen began her hospitality career in 1998 at New York's Plaza Hotel, where she served as Food and Beverage Assistant Manager before being promoted to Director of Restaurant Sales and Marketing.

Rosen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. She currently resides in Mystic, CT.
