Hospitality Leaders Plan 2011 HFTP Conference Education

. January 07, 2011

January 6, 2011 - Planning is underway for several education programs for Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals' (HFTP®) conferences, including the Club and Hotel Controllers Conference and Annual Convention & Tradeshow. The Education Advisory Council, a group of hospitality leaders, is designing programs for both conferences that address the important issues and needs of the hospitality finance and technology industries. Hospitality professionals are encouraged to submit education presentations to the Education Advisory Council. The deadlines for submission include January 15, 2011 for Club and Hotel Controllers Conference and February 11, 2011 for Annual Convention & Tradeshow.

“Every year the Education Advisory Council, planners and staff go out of their way to make sure HFTP conferences focus on the new trends, solutions and ideas that are invaluable to attendees,” said Lenore Streitfeld, CHAE, CHTP, controller for Seawane Golf and Country Club and co-chair of the Education Advisory Council. “Hospitality professionals spend years honing their skills and we encourage them to share their expertise by speaking at one of HFTP's conferences."

The Club and Hotel Controllers Conference, co-located with the 2011 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), is scheduled for June 20-22 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. The popular conference has an education program that includes general sessions and concurrent sessions with two industry-specific tracks, one for hotels and the other for clubs.

HFTP's 2011 Annual Convention & Tradeshow is October 19-22 at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, Ga. All in one place, the convention offers attendees a way to find cost-effective solutions to their current work challenges, stay informed on the hottest industry topics, expand their network, increase their professional value and become empowered. The concurrent education sessions fit into five tracks — club, hotel, general, technology and leadership unlimited.
