Samed Hires Brennan as GM of Paradee

JANUARY 30, 2007. Thailand's Samed Resorts group has announced the appointment of Ms Dymphna Brennan as General Manager of the 40-villa luxury Paradee on Samed island, southeast Thailand. The company is exhibiting at the Asean Tourism Forum in Singapore this week.

The 54-year old Brennan joins the Paradee after serving as Resident Manager at the Grand Sukhumvit and Grand Mercure hotels in Bangkok. Prior to that she served in senior executive positions in Novotel, Shangri-La, Regent and Mandarin hotel properties in Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, Hong Kong and China. She has also been Regional Manager for the Eastern & Oriental Express train which links Singapore to Thailand.

Ms Brennan took over at the Paradee on January 1. She said: "The Paradee is one of the most outstanding resort hotels in Thailand. Visitors and travel agents are usually surprised, and sometimes stunned, when they see what we have offer. It's a property built for couples and privacy."
