. February 15, 2012

TOKYO - February 14, 2012 - Fujita Tourist Enterprises Co., Ltd. will rename Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Chinzan-so and Chinzanso to Hotel Chinzan-so Tokyo as of January 1, 2013, and streamline management by combining the two facilities.

The facilities possess a garden approximately 16.3 acres in size, which includes numerous historic landmarks and buildings. Located in the center of Tokyo, it is a place where both nature and harmony can be appreciated. Fujita aims to utilize this advantage to establish a new facility which provides the highest level of quality in relaxation and comfort with "Japanese Hospitality" as its fundamental principle.

In the next three years, Fujita is scheduled to invest 7 billion yen in the project. In addition to the renovation of the hotel which includes the expansion of guest rooms and bathrooms with a garden view, the company is planning to construct a new riverside cafe to provide a new experience in dining and tea time, and a "live kitchen" exclusively for the service of sweets. Also, a new bridal tower is planned to be built to satisfy the wide variety of needs of our customers in weddings and banquets. Furthermore, Fujita plans to arrange new services such as ordering prime menus from every restaurant in the hotel by room service, and programs to experience Japanese culture and history in various locations within the hotel.

"Chinzan-so" was given its name some 130 years ago in the 11th year of the Meiji Period (1878) by the celebrated prince Aritomo Yamagata. It is a rare place in the center of Tokyo where Japanese history and culture along with the beautiful natural atmosphere can be appreciated.

Please look forward to more announcements in the near future concerning an excellent garden resort life at Hotel Chinzan-so Tokyo.
