Multi-Systems Announces Key Management Changes

PHOENIX, AZ, February 13, 2007. Multi-Systems, Inc. To help achieve this mission, MSI announces several key changes in the company's senior management.

Glen Long has been hired to fill MSI's new position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Long will oversee sales, account management and marketing for North America. Long has more than 30 years of corporate technology and lodging industry experience, of which 17 years was devoted to building and managing regional and national sales organizations. Long has personally closed over $140MM in long-term complex I/T outsourcing contracts for companies like IBM, SMS and United Messaging. Most recently as the owner of a newly constructed Best Western in Chester, Calif., Long immersed himself in the property's day-to-day operations including design, construction and operations. He became familiar with MSI during the search for the hotel's property management system and has been an MSI end-user since the property opened. This unique experience and external interaction with the MSI organization will provide a great foundation as he works side by side with MSI's sales teams.

Rick Bennett has been promoted to Vice President of Product Integration. In this new role, Bennett is responsible for ensuring effective internal communications throughout MSI's product's life cycle. He will ensure that all of the information required to make a project successful is communicated from conception to post-installation. He also has full responsibility for the overall information management of MSI's new product and software releases and for the product distribution center. Bennett will work with the MSI team to improve its existing system's configurations process and to ensure systems are being shipped with the most accurate configurations and the most current software. Bennett joined MSI in 1992 and has been a member of customer support, product distribution, quality assurance, second-level support and development. Prior to MSI, Bennett worked in customer support for Rutherford and Associates and as a Night Auditor while attending the University of New Mexico.

David Kantrud has been promoted to Vice President of Software Engineering. In his new role, he will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of MSI's development team. In addition, he will work closely with each department to ensure that the company is providing products and services that exceed customer's expectations. Kantrud began his career with MSI in 2004 as a senior developer and has been a leader on many of the company's products. Prior to joining MSI, he was a software engineer with Pegasus Solutions where his work included: Netbooker, WinAI, PegsCentral, and other hospitality applications and web sites. Prior to Pegasus Solutions, Kantrud worked as a programmer for Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auctions and the Arizona Department of Economic Security. Kantrud graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Computer Information Systems, and he holds an array of technical certifications including Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and Microsoft Certified Application Developer.

Marc Voirol has been promoted to Director of Account Management. Since joining MSI's Customer Assistance Center in 2000, Voirol has filled many positions at the company. He was also chosen for the Manager of the Year award in 2006 by MSI associates. Prior to joining MSI, Voirol spent eight years working in the lodging industry and gained experience in all aspects of the hotel industry by working in positions ranging from guest service associate to general manager.

Kim Anglin has been promoted to Director of Training. In her six months with MSI, she has proven her ability to lead the training team. She will ensure the training team provides a high-quality training, installation and post-support experience to customers. Most recently, Anglin was the PM Implementation Manager, at Pegasus Solutions, where she managed the implementation and training teams for all PM products and Cendant, where Anglin worked on the Project PowerUp Management team and at the close of that project, was the PM Project Manager for all Cendant Brands. Prior to that, she spent 10 years in management at the property level with Sheraton, Hilton, Registry Resorts and L'Ermitage.
