Settle Inn Launches Loyalty Program

Hotel guests enrolled in Rest Rewards receive immediate benefit

ABERDEEN, ND, February 28, 2007. Settle Inn LLC is launching its new loyalty program 'Rest Rewards' as a way to say thank you to guests.

Guests can enroll in Rest Rewards free of charge either online at www.settleinn.com or in person at the hotel. Membership benefits include a welcome amenity package and extended checkout privileges. Benefits are awarded as soon as guests sign up.

The check-in amenity package, which includes a bottled water and snacks, is designed with Settle Inn's refresh and replenish philosophy in mind.

"We want to reward our guests on every stay - especially those guests who may never log enough nights to earn rewards under traditional points & miles programs. Eventually, we hope to expand the rewards program to offer our guests additional benefits for staying with us," said Tim O'Connor, Settle Inn's senior vice president of brand management. Rest Rewards is our way of personally thanking guests for staying with us each and every time. Providing visitors with this specialized service during each stay enhances Settle Inn's unique character and personality of providing a relaxing and restful stay."

"Settle Inn franchisees are embracing Rest Rewards because it not only builds brand loyalty, it's also very low cost", O'Connor said. "Most hotel loyalty programs are very costly to the franchisee. We wanted to create a program that allows guests to be rewarded without creating too many extra costs for our franchisees," he added.

Settle Inn is consistently earning praise for developing a new standard in fair franchise agreements. The company received a near-perfect rating (99.3%) in fair franchising by the American Association of Franchisees and Dealers. The 14-year-old company also has agreements in place with other franchisees to build additional hotels in 2007 and beyond. In December, Settle Inn purchased GuestHouse International Inns, Hotels & Suites, a leading upper-economy brand of more than 70 franchisees with operations in 22 states and China.
